The Sons and Daughters were included in the early reunions of the 103rd Regiment. In 1888 they officially organized to put on the social activities of the aging veteran's reunions.
The Sons and Daughters organization is in charge of the preparations and presentations of Camp Week and the various other gatherings held during the year. The annual meeting is held at the end of the week long reunion. Different issues are voted on, new elections are held, and budgets are discussed. New presidents and officers are elected every year.
The Sons & Daughters Foundation is self funding, meaning that the members fund the gatherings. Meals, entertainment, activities, etc., are all financed by the group, through registration, meal tickets and family donations.
